The Challenge

Scalabrini Centre of Cape Town is a seasoned social impact organisation whose vision is to foster the cultural, social, and Economic integration of migrants, refugees, and South Africans into local society. Scalabrini was looking to equip and train their partner organisations with the capabilities to craft and run an an anti-xenophobia campaign that would promote a positive mindset shift on migration in South Africa. CoCreate was selected to design and deliver an engaging and innovative program that activated creativity and insight into how to craft and run a compelling anti-xenophobia campaign in South Africa.

The Program

CoCreate designed and delivered a five weeks program for pro-migration member organisations in South Africa, bringing together passionate activists and legal professionals to craft and run effective and inclusive campaigns.

The Results

We equipped leaders and practitioners from multiple organisations with the time and space, skills, beliefs, and mindsets to critically engage with the complexity of shifting attitude towards migration in South Africa. CoCreate helped to up-skill the leaders with the capabilities to collaborate with their teams
